I think a blog entry for little Honeydew is long overdue! This sweet bunny has been waiting for a home for almost an entire year. She ended up at the shelter in the same way many other rabbits do… she was originally purchased from a pet store as a gift for someone who really didn’t want the responsibility of caring for a rabbit. (Side note: Please, PLEASE don’t ever buy a rabbit from a pet store… many of them are supplied by cruel rabbit mills.) Honeydew is a medium size Rex bunny with super soft fur and the most adorable curly little whiskers. She’s just as sweet as her name sounds, and has a very gentle nature. She loves her fresh veggies, and although she’s a bit chubby, I’m sure she could slim down a bit if she had a home with space to run and play. Honeydew is about 2 1/2 years old, and is spayed and ready to go home. If you’re looking for a bunny, please consider this sweet girl! (UPDATE: Honeydew has been adopted!)
