Ginger is a gorgeous bunny with a personality that’s just as fiery as that red hair of hers. She came to the Humane Society in April, when her owner could no longer afford to care for her, and now she’s just over a year old. Ginger gave us a bit of trouble when she first showed up – she wasn’t used to being handled, was extremely territorial, and would lunge at anyone that reached for her. However, after months of socialization by volunteers and staff, I’m happy to say that she is MUCH more mellow and friendly now! She likes to be petted, sits patiently while her nails are trimmed, and will even jump in your lap. She can still be feisty at times and probably wouldn’t be a good choice for a young child, but so far she’s done very well with people who have come to visit her. If you’re looking for a spunky and energetic bunny, go check her out! (UPDATE: Ginger has been adopted!!)
The way to Ginger’s heart is through her stomach – she loves her greens!
